The Netgear EX8000 Setup has a dedicated 5 GHz band with up to 1.7 Gbps for speeding up internet connections to your computers. To set up the Netgear EX8000, you must connect it to your existing WiFi network. The There are two ways to attach a WiFi extender:

  • Bring your WiFi-enabled computer or mobile device to a location with limited WiFi router coverage.
